About Us

Your hosts are Mary & Jo a mother and daughter team, ably assisted by their faithful hounds Issie, Annie & Molly! Mary is retired having sold her organic farm in West Wales and knowing that she did not want to retire completely was looking for something different to occupy her time. Fortuitously Jo wanted a change of pace from the burden of daily life as a solicitor and wanted a more gentle countryside based occupation.

Mary & Jo fell in love with the area a few years ago and were lucky to find and buy Forest Mill Cottage and more recently Ty Bychan. They have lovingly renovated and updated both cottages to make them feel like a real home from home for your comfort and enjoyment.

The gardens at Forest Mill Cottage are shared with Mary & Jo and Issie, Annie and Molly who live in the converted barn across the courtyard. Mary & Jo will greet you on arrival at Forest Mill Cottage and show you around but will then leave it to you to call upon them thereafter if required. You could well get a wave from them across the garden! Ty Bychan has a key safe entry system and Mary & Jo are just a phone call away!

Mary & Jo would like you to be aware that Issie, Annie & Molly do have free run of the garden at Forest Mill Cottage and if you have concerns about this please enquire further.

Mary & Jo sincerely hope that you will come and visit and fall in love with the area, as they have, and come back again and again to relax and enjoy!
