About Us and Forest Mill Holiday Cottages

Your hosts are Mary & Jo a mother and daughter team, ably assisted by their faithful hounds Annie, Molly and Missie (Issie sadly missed). Mary is retired having sold her organic farm in West Wales and knowing that she did not want to retire completely was looking for something different to occupy her time. Fortuitously Jo wanted a change of pace from the burden of daily life as a solicitor and wanted a more gentle countryside based occupation.

Mary & Jo fell in love with the area a few years ago and were lucky to find and buy Forest Mill Cottage and more recently Ty Bychan. They have lovingly renovated and updated both cottages to make them feel like a real home from home for your comfort and enjoyment.

The gardens at Forest Mill Cottage are shared with Mary & Jo and Issie, Annie and Molly who live in the converted barn across the courtyard. Issie, Annie & Molly do have free run of the garden at Forest Mill Cottage and if you have concerns about this please enquire further.

Forest Mill Cottage offers a self check in but please confirm your rough arrival time so the cottage can be opened up for you. Mary & Jo will always give a friendly wave from across the garden but will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay!

Ty Bychan has a key safe entry system and Mary & Jo are just a phone call away!

Mary & Jo sincerely hope that you will come and visit and fall in love with the area, as they have, and come back again and again to relax and enjoy!

The beautiful area and what to do!

Cannot say enough for wonderful things about Forest Mill Cottage!!
"Jo and Mary (and their lovely dogs) are so welcoming and the cottage is truly a five star country escape. Our puppy loved having the freedom to run around and explore the big garden and play with the dogs. We will be back for sure!! "
